Always pushing the boundaries of what is possible, CineArray has developed a world first helicopter Array system for the Shotover K1 gimbal. This innovative setup combines a three-camera array with an additional single camera fitted with a zoom lens, enabling simultaneous capture of seamless VFX plates and standard single camera shots. By recording multiple perspectives in a single flight, productions save valuable time both in the air and on the ground, while maximising creative output.
All CineArray setups are fully integrated with the company’s proprietary LiveStitch system. LiveStitch provides real time stitched preview monitoring, allowing Directors, and VFX supervisors to visualise the final composite from on set or anywhere in the world. Stitched footage is recorded directly to a removable SSD for immediate dailies review, while each individual camera feed is captured with full metadata, enabling rapid post-production access to both stitched and single camera footage as soon as cameras cut.
