FUJIFILM’s long heritage in analogue colour science continues through its X and GFX digital cameras, whose film simulations accurately recreate classic stocks such as ASTIA, PROVIA and, of course, ETERNA motion picture film.
In 2025, FUJIFILM returned to cinema in a big way with the GFX ETERNA 55 digital filmmaking camera. Featuring a large 55mm-diagonal 4:3 sensor, the tallest available from any manufacturer, it combines the company’s motion picture heritage with the advanced imaging technology behind the GFX system. Many of the same engineers who worked on FUJIFILM’s motion picture films helped refine the camera’s colour profile, signalling a bold new chapter in the brand’s cinema journey.
At BSC Expo 2026, FUJIFILM will present its latest premium FUJINON zoom lenses alongside the GFX ETERNA 55, as well as showcasing the award-winning Duvo lenses with Motion Impossible’s Agito remote platform for fully remote cinematic capture.
