The Tiffen Company is known for making the world’s most extensive range of superior quality glass filters for professional film, television and still photography and also as the manufacturer of the award winning Steadicam stabilisation systems. The company will be showing the latest filter technology, including this year’s filter hit, Soft Glow, Black Soft Glow and Golden Glow diffusion filters, which have rapidly gained popularity for their ability to precisely add a hint of halation exhibiting a gentle glow from light sources and specular reflections.
Additionally Tiffen will display a range of Fusion filters which combine the world renowned Tiffen Variable Neutral Density or Circular Polarizer with either a Black ProMist or Glimmer Glass in one convenient package. The revolutionary MCS magnetic filter system uses powerful magnets to attach a wide range of filters to the front of the lens without the need for a matte box or bulky filter holder. Both of these ranges offer great ease of use and reduced complexity to the camera operator.
Prominent on the stand will be a display of authentic Steadicam® stabilisers including the M-2 System shown both with the Volt 3 three axis electronic assist giving control over the pan axis as well as roll and tilt. This will be paired with the Steadicam® latest G-70X2 arm with its geared lift adjust great rigidity and ultimate smoothness rated up to 31.8kg and featuring the new tool-free connector adjustment.
